  Fatty Liver Disease, or hepatic steatosis, is a common yet often overlooked condition that affects millions of people worldwide. It occurs when excess fat accumulates in the liver cells, impeding the organ's ability to function properly. While it is primarily associated with alcohol consumption, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is on the rise and has become a significant public health concern.
